The Movie

watch the videos below!

A group of friends, reunited after decades thanks to social media and their love for Pink Floyd, find themselves trapped under the weight of day-to-day life in a doomed country (Chile). One of them has received a unique gift from the one and only Roger Waters (true story). That situation leads to them embarking on the craziest adventure of their lives to achieve the abandoned dreams from their childhood: Return the inflatable pig “Algie” – from the “Animals” album cover, to London. Thanks to this decision, they’ll learn that it’s better to fulfill your dreams at any given time, than to be an eternal slave to your own fears.

The Documentary

The documentary tells the eccentric story about the making of movie led by Panchi and his son Arturo, who pursue the dream of bringing the film to the big screen.  An entire city that wants to see Algie fly again in Battersea, London. The gigantic Pig that Roger Waters gave away in 2007 to a Chilean doctor. This is a story about the difficulties that entail making a movie in Chile, specially outside the mainstream networks and capital cities… and no budget. Concepción, the city that gestates both projects has been awarded as “Musical City” by UNESCO, carrying a significant cultural past and present that seems overshadowed by industries.
